The Chamber works through a committee system of volunteers to accomplish our mission.

Statement
To accomplish the mission of the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors has adopted the following goals and action items:

Strategies:
  • Conduct monthly Business Roundtable Action Committee meetings.
  • Support the launch and implementation of the Mechatronics Program.
  • Expand Warren County High School Internship Program.
  • Continue fundraising efforts for the Citizens for Progress scholarship program through the Willowbrook Pro-Am Golf Tournament and the Bud Godwin Gospel Singing.

Strategies:
  • Continue the Three Star Program / develop Housing Committee.
  • Explore social networking options such as Facebook.
  • Expand the "Smokin' in McMinnville" Bar-B-Que cook-off in collaboration with the City of McMinnville.
  • Promote tourism and retiree relocation through the use of the new branding campaign, target marketing, new tourism committee, and housing committee.

Strategies:
  • Combine P16 Council with Education Division to promote education initiatives.
  • Engage higher education institutions to promote education for a 21st century job market.
  • Communicate the importance of education to the community's economic health using media, public radio, and School Board breakfasts/luncheons.
  • Support the Citizens for Progress scholarship program.
  • Support Partners in Education Program.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Division on supporting schools through Sales Taxes.

John Mclain: John Mclain is currently the CEO of River Park Hospital, and has worked in the health care/hospital environment for 20 years. He began his hospital career as a filing clerk and registration clerk at Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital in Atlanta while completing college and attending school for an MHA/MBA degree. He became the CEO of Wythe County Community Hospital in 2004 and CEO of River Park Hospital in March 2007. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and involved in Rotary International, McMinnville Noon Chapter. He was born and raised in Chattanooga, married his wife Selena in 1992 and has two children, Luke and Savannah.
Jewell Walker: Jewell Walker, a 25 year veteran of finance, is currently a Mortgage Loan Originator with Security Federal Saving Bank. She is active in community organizations, such as McMinnville Evening Exchange Club, McMinnville Business and Professional Women’s Club. A true TN volunteer she has spent many hours working on fund raising for March of Dimes, American Heart Association, and Relay for Life. Becoming involved with the Chamber as a member of Leadership McMinnville class of 1994, she currently serves as a member of the Leadership McMinnville Steering Committee, Highland Rim Cycling Classic and is co-director of Membership Services Division of your Chamber. She and husband Larry have one daughter Vanessa and granddaughter Laurna Beth. They attend Bybee Branch Church of Christ.
Mary Jane Bell: Mary Jane Bell has been employed at First National Bank for over 30 years and is Vice President-Loans. Mary Jane is a graduate of the Leadership McMinnville Class of 1994. She has been a teacher for the English as a Second Language Class for Hispanics at First Baptist Church on Monday nights for the past seven years. A member of the Westside Baptist Church, Mary Jane serves as a Sunday school teacher, Church Treasurer, Women’s Missionary Union Leader, and on various other church committees. She also belongs to the McMinnville Evening Exchange and the McMinnville Business & Professional Women’s Clubs and is a life member of the McMinnville Junior Auxiliary. She serves as Director of the Membership Services Division of your Chamber.
Ray Cantrell: Ray Cantrell is Network Operations Manager of Ben Lomand Telephone. He has been with Ben Lomand since 1996. He is married to Sonya, and they have three children. Ray and his family attend Central Church of Christ.
Amie Hodges: Amie Hodges is President of Pioneer Building Supply. She is a member of the McMinnville Noon Exchange Club. She and husband, Kenny, have two children. Amie also serves as Division Director for the Retail Promotion Division of the Chamber.
  Ray Jones: Ray Jones is the President and owner of Southern Manufacturing Group, Inc in Morrison, TN. This business consists of SMG Valves, SMG Automotive, SMG Tool Service and Hallmark Industrial Services. SMG started in 1993, making valve parts for DeZurik, and now owns three valve lines. Ray worked for DeZurik in Engineering and as plant manager for Norton Advanced. Ray and his wife, Myra are members of Cornerstone Baptist church and have four children: Carol Hobbs, Mary Grissom, Scott Jones and Daniel Jones; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He has a Chevrolet Apprenticeship, undergrad at University of Michigan and MBA from Vanderbilt.
Hannnah O'Neal: Originally from Knoxville, Hannah O’Neal is a graduate of TTU with a degree in accounting. She and her husband, Dwight, have operated O’Neal Nursery Co. for over 30 years. They have recently converted part of their farm into the Collins River Golf Course and the development, The Reserve at Collins River. Hannah is an avid quilter and has 2 sons, Joe, 28, and Chris, 26. She serves on the Chamber’s Retail Promotion Division.
Rodney Boyd: Rodney Boyd is General Manager/CEO of McMinnville Electric System and is active in many community organizations, such as Rotary. He is married to Debby; they have three children; and they attend First Baptist Church. He is a member of the Chamber’s Business Division Steering Committee.
Sally Brock: Sally Brock worked for your Chamber for ten years back in the mid-eighties and until the mid-nineties. Sally was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she worked for Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company for 17 years. When she married Warren County native Everett Brock, owner of Chairman of the Boards Refinishing, they relocated here. Since Sally left the Chamber, she has worked with the American Heart Association and then with the Warren County School System where she directed a Federal grant program for at-risk students between the ages of 16 and 21. She has also worked for the American Cancer Society and is currently employed by Lazarus House Hospice. Sally was elected to the First District of the Warren County Commission in 1998 and has been re-elected twice since then. She serves as a director for the McMinnville Electric System Power Board and is a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Todd Herzog: Immediate Past Chair, is the President and Owner of Accu-Router, Inc., located on Mountain View Industrial Drive in the Mountain View Industrial Park in Morrison. Todd is a die-hard Notre Dame fan which comes from his years in school there where he earned a degree in Marketing. He continued his education at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his MBA. He first came to the Warren County area in 1976 as the Vice President of Marketing for Powermatic before venturing into self-employment with Accu-Router in 1992. Todd has served on the Board of Directors for the Warren County Habitat for Humanity; the Board of Directors for the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America; and the Board of Directors of the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, which is the tenth largest industrial trade show in the United States. He has also worked for your Chamber as the Chair of the Business Roundtable Action Committee for several years and authors a monthly column in the Southern Standard which features people and their businesses in the Warren County area. He has helped organize the Warren County High School Invitational Golf Tournament for several years. He and wife, Kathleen, have two children - Jennifer and Todd Richard.
Sean Kelley:
  • 20 years with Bridgestone, currently the Plant Operations Manager
  • Married 15 years to Cheryl Kelley and 2 children, Lance and Savannah
  • Very active in the community, volunteerism is contagious!
  • Supports "Quality of Life", and emphasis on "Improving Education"
Bobby Cox: Bobby Cox, Director of Instruction Pre-K-12, Warren County School System, began his teaching career in 1991 as a teacher and coach at WCHS and moved to West Elementary in 1992. At the Central office since 1999, where he started as Director of Attendance, and eventually moved to current position in 2002. Bobby is Chair of the Upper Cumberland Supervisors Study Council, Chair of the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce Education/P-16 Council, Adjunct Instructor for Cumberland University, Advisory Board Member of Tennessee Technology Center McMinnville and serves as President for Tennessee Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Bobby was awarded Middle Tennessee Supervisor of the Year Award from Tennessee State Department of Education in 2010, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from MTSU, and Master of Arts Degree and Educational Specialist Degree from TN Tech University. Married to Latisha, they have two children, Lindsey-11 and Savannah-7.
Dennis Lann: Co-owner of FoodLand Plus, Dennis has been in the grocery business for 35 years. Dennis married his wife Cindy in 1993, and they have three children: Megan, Brittany and Jacob. He enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his son in soccer.
Cindy Rogers: Marketing Director of Homeland Community Bank, Cindy has worked with the bank since its organization in 2003. Prior to working at Homeland, she worked for the Chamber of Commerce. Cindy is a graduate of Leadership McMinnville Class of 1995. Actively involved with the Leadership program, she is co-chair of the Youth Leadership program. Cindy is married to Ronnie and they have one child, C.J. They attend Central Church of Christ.
Steve Stanger: Owner and Managing Partner of Multi-Source, Inc. located in the Mountain View Industrial Park in Morrison. A native of the Atlanta, Georgia area, Steve moved to Warren County in 1984 with ARAMARK Corp. After a 21 year career managing Business Services as District Manager in the Southeast with ARAMARK he founded Multi-Source, Inc. in 1998. Steve is on the Steering Committee of the Business Roundtable Action Committee, Citizens For Progress Steering Committee, CFP Appeals Committee and the WCHS Invitational Golf Tournament Steering Committee. Steve is married to Karen and has three children and one grandson.
Dr. Norman Rone, Mayor: Except for 6 years service in the United States Air Force and the years spent in college, Dr. Rone has been a lifelong resident of McMinnville. He graduated from Warren County Central High, attended both MTSU and the University of Tennessee receiving a BS degree in science and biology. He attended Southern College of Optometry at the medical area of the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he received his Doctoral Degree in optometry. He also completed the Local Government Leadership Program at UT. He has been a practicing optometric physician in McMinnville since 1964. He is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce and served three terms as Mayor of McMinnville from 1989 to 2000. He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He is married to Elizabeth Mason Rone, has two grown daughters and three grand sons.
John Pelham: Warren County Executive, Ex-officio Board member. Mr. Pelham became an ex-officio member of the Board in September of 2006 when he was elected Warren County Executive. He is married to Rhonda Jones Pelham, who is with the Warren County School System currently serving as Opportunities Coordinator. They have one son, Zach, and a daughter, Whitney. John is the owner of Volunteer Motors, U-Save Auto Rental, and J & B Properties but no longer participates in daily operations of these businesses as he is extremely busy serving the citizens of Warren County.

Alicea Weddington: President - Alicea was hired as Chamber President on June 1, 2007. She is a native of Warren County and is married to Thomas Weddington. She has one daughter, Savannah, and two step-children, Tommy and Veleaka. She also has two dogs that she is very fond of, Petrie and Cocoa. Prior to joining the Chamber, Alicea was employed by Bouldin & Lawson and Bouldin Corporation where she last held the position of Human Resources Manager.
