Naomi Morrison began performing around eleven years ago in church. Eight years ago, she entered her first vocal
competition at the Smithville Fiddlers' Jamboree with her father and two brothers. Since then, Naomi has
been honing her singing and songwriting skills and performing at a variety of venues.
In 2001, Naomi played Patsy Cline in the hit musical comedy, "Always Patsy Cline". A year later, she
moved to Sevierville, TN to continue her career. In 2003, Naomi auditioned for an opportunity to perform
at one of Tennessee's favorite attractions-Dollywood. She got the job and was hired to perform with a
Bluegrass band Dollywood dubbed "Naomi and the Wood Brothers".
Naomi recently married the band’s banjo player, Tucker McCandless. They live in Sevierville and are
enjoying their fifth year at Dollywood.
Naomi has long been a big Dottie West fan. She wowed the crowd at the 2007 Dottie West Music Fest,
and is eager to perform again this year. She’s also looking forward to seeing "all the folks back home!"
Jeremy Stone is a multi-talented singer-songwriter, with a penchant for sad songs about good old boys and good old girls coping with life's ups and downs.
His debut album "Jeremy Stone: Tall Tales From Big Pond" is aptly titled. From the rollicking "Being Bad" to the introspective "A Good Man", Jeremy's
singing and songwriting skills attest to his versatility as both a wordsmith and a tunesmith. Jeremy's recent performance at the famed Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN was met with warm applause and very positive
feedback from those who attended. Jeremy continues to hone his singing, songwriting and guitar skills, even as he juggles the demands of providing for his growing family, which includes a new baby boy.
Born in Nashville, TN, Tess Frizzell is the daughter of award-winning Country artist Shelly West and Country Gospel artist and producer Allen Frizzell. Country music legends are part of her lineage. Her mom is the daughter of Country superstar singer and songwriter Dottie West. Her dad is the younger brother of David and the legendary singer and songwriter Lefty Frizzell.
Tess grew up in the midst of music. She even learned to walk on a tour bus! From doing demos in her dad’s studio to touring with her uncle David and singing her mom’s part on the David Frizzell and Shelly West duo’s many hits, Tess has sharply honed her performing skills on the way to becoming a rising Country music star in her own right.
Sponsors are needed and all profits will go towards Dottie West Music Fest Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to "Non traditional" students at Motlow and Tennessee Tech here in McMinnville.
