Rock Island State Park Kayak Bass Fishing Series 2018

Join Ranger Allen Reynolds at Rock Island State Park on March 17, 2018 at 6:30 am to begin a new local series for Kayak Bass Anglers.   A short informative discussion about the tournaments, as well as about the rich history and aquatic diversity surrounding the headwaters of Center Hill Lake will be given.  Feel free to contact the Park Office for more information.

Cost:  The Tournament Entry Fee will be $5 per boat per day or $20 for the season pass.

Each competitor must fish at least 3 tournaments to qualify for the Final, and must have paid for the season pass.

All competitors are expected to have lines up and be visible from the Launch at ending time.  Must be out of the water and check-in with Director no more than 30 minutes after end time.  Photos will be sent by phone, email, or using card reader to computer.  Poor photos, dead phones/cameras, or tampered photos will not be used and may disqualify competitors from tournament, present and future.

Tags will be handed out up to 30 minutes prior to start time, and bull horn will be used to begin and end tournaments.

Prizes will be awarded once points are accumulated and results will be final.

Kayaks and Hawg Troughs will be available for rent by Rock Island State Park.  Ranger must be informed the day prior to tournament for Rental of Gear.

Rock Island, TN 38581) or on the Rock Island State Park Kayak Bass Fishing Group Page.  All guidelines follow K.A.S.T guidelines.   All members are encouraged to share their catch on the page, as well as any other bass fishing related items and info.  All posts that are negative in nature, discouraging, or vulgar will be deleted, and may disqualify the person posting from the group and from future tournaments as well.

Sign-ups begin now and can be done through the Admin (Ranger Allen Reynolds- allen.reynolds@tn.gov(931) 686-2471 or cell- 931-314-9192).  When signing up, an application packet must be filled out completely, along with an Application, Volunteer Waiver, Photo release form, Photo copy of fishing license w/ id and fees.
