Tennessee Master Gardeners (TMG's) are trained volunteers helping share the latest and greatest gardening information through University of Tennessee/Tennessee State University researched- based programs. If you are interested in improving your understanding and knowledge of how plants grow and just want to meet others with same interests, class is now forming. Topics include: soils and fertility; botany; vegetables; fruit trees; shrubs; flowers; insects & disease; pesticides; lawn maintenance; composting; irrigation; landscaping, etc. You don't have to be an expert to take the class. It is an intensive 36-hour 12 week course for anyone interested in home horticulture.
