    Name: 2020 Bologna Day
    Date: April 7, 2020
    Time: 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM CDT
    Event Description:

In the late 1970s, longtime state Rep. I.V. Hillis started what came to be known as Bologna Day. It was back then when Hillis, along with friend Raleigh Raper, bought some bologna and cheese and decided to have lunch at Fraley’s on Main Street McMinnville. Bologna Day has since moved to Capitol Hill in Nashville, but its tradition of paving the way for constituents to connect with their elected officials in the General Assembly remains the same.

We invite Warren County citizens to join us for 2020 Bologna Day on Tuesday, April 7th. Citizens will enjoy a tour of the Capitol, interactive presentations from various state officials, and meeting their legislators. In keeping with tradition, citizens will also be treated to a complementary lunch of bologna sandwiches and chips.

Thanks to Homeland Community Bank, Caney Fork Electric Cooperative, Inc., and Southern Central Iron & Metal for once again making this event possible!

And a special thank you to Representative Rush Bricken and his office for helping to organize the day.
