Warren Arts is excited to announce auditions for Bonnie & Clyde the musical. Premiering on Broadway in 2011, with music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black, and a book by Ivan Menchell, this depression-era musical, set deep in Texas, centers on Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, the ill-fated lovers and outlaws who went from being two small-town nobodies in West Texas to America's most renowned folk heroes. As their notoriety - and body count - rises, the ill-fated lovers find themselves racing to the top of the Public Enemies list. Wildhorn describes the music as a "non-traditional score, combining rockabilly, blues and gospel".
