    Event Description:
    Come take part in a unique opportunity to snorkel the Rock Island River Gorge and see the underwater life! This will be an opportunity to learn about the importance of water, water quality, water safety, and underwater life! This will be a hand on adventure that you should expect to get wet while participating.
    We will meet at the Old Mill Parking Lot Pavilion and discus the safety mechanisms that will be in place to ensure as safe of an environment as possible, and will also discuss what animals might be observed while in the gorge. 
    In order to participate in this program you must be able to swim, have water shoes (no flip-flops or crocs), and wear appropriate swimwear, and be willing to follow instructions.
    Spaces are limited to 5 participants ages 12 and up, reserve your spots now. Pre-registration is required and can be taken care of at the park office. Equipment will be provided (Snorkel, mask, fins, and lifejacket). Please bring your own water and snacks if desired.
