World Peace Day Celebration

September 21st is the United Nations International Day of Peace. Established in 1981 and marked by a moment of silence in the General Assembly, the day of peace was created for “promoting the ideals of Peace” and  ”giving positive evidence of [the United Nations'] commitment to peace in all viable ways. ” Hundreds of events for this day are organized around the world, including concerts, group meditations, and a global Peace Wave with moments of silence at noon in every time zone.

Sadhguru Vasudev, visionary humanitarian and founder of Isha Foundation, will be joined at the event by a panel of environmentalists, lawmakers, creative artists, and business leaders who are striving to create peace in the world.

This event will also feature Interfaith Singing, documentary screenings and displays for local organization, delicious food from local food trucks, hiking to waterfalls and bluffs on the spectacular 1300-acre campus, and in the evening a live outdoor music concert!
