Fiberglass / Paint Technician – RV Repair

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a skilled Fiberglass / Paint Technician for a reputable RV repair facility. This position focuses on fiberglass repair, surface preparation, and painting to restore RV exteriors to high-quality, durable finishes.
Pay: $17 and up depending on experience
Job Responsibilities

Repair cracks, holes, and damage in fiberglass RV panels

Perform surface preparation including sanding, filling, masking, and priming
-
Spray primer, paint, clearcoat, and/or gelcoat
-
Match and blend paint colors to existing finishes
-
Buff, polish, and perform finish work as needed
-
Seal repaired areas to ensure water-tight results
-
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
-
Follow safety procedures and use required PPE
Skills Required
-
Fiberglass repair and finishing skills
-
Painting and surface prep experience
-
Ability to use spray guns, sanders, grinders, and buffers
-
Attention to detail and quality workmanship
-
Time management and ability to meet deadlines
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience Required
-
2–5 years of experience in fiberglass repair, auto body, RV repair, or marine repair
-
Painting experience preferred
-
Trade school or equivalent hands-on experience accepted
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
-
Lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance

Comfortable working at heights using ladders or platforms
-
Ability to wear a respirator and other PPE
Work Environment

RV repair shop setting

Exposure to dust, noise, chemicals, and fumes

Indoor and occasional outdoor work

Fast-paced, hands-on environment
