Auto Repair Technician

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Auto Repair Technician for a reputable automotive service facility in Morrison, TN. We are looking for a dependable and skilled technician who takes pride in delivering quality work and excellent customer service.

Position Summary

The Auto Repair Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles while ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in an automotive repair environment, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Pay

• Starting at $20.00 per hour
• Higher pay available based on experience, certifications, and skill level

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2-3 years of automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• ASE Certification(s)
• Personal automotive tools (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment
• Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspension systems, steering components, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire services, and fluid checks
• Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools
