Automotive Mechanic – Sparta, TN
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic for a full-time position in Sparta, TN. The ideal candidate will have a proven work history in automotive repair and strong hands-on experience across a wide range of mechanical services.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and modify dual exhaust systems, including bending exhausts and fitting tail pipes
-
Perform mechanical repairs on alternators, water pumps, starters, radiators, shocks, and CV axles
-
Complete tune-ups, oil changes, brake work, battery replacements, belts, hoses, and general vehicle maintenance
-
Rotate and balance tires with accuracy and safety
-
Diagnose issues and provide high-quality, timely repairs
-
MIG welding required for exhaust and fabrication work
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
-
Demonstrated experience in automotive repair with verifiable work history
-
Strong knowledge of exhaust systems and general automotive maintenance
-
Ability to MIG weld confidently and safely
-
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
-
Must have own tools
Schedule & Pay:
-
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
